Pinedale, Wyoming
Tom
Brown Real Estate is located in beautiful Pinedale, Wyoming,
on the western side of Wyoming, in Sublette County.
Allow
us to share some fun facts about our little western towns
of Pinedale, Boulder, Big Piney, Bondurant, Cora,
Daniel, Marbleton, & Merna! And you will see why we love
living and playing in Sublette County.
All of our little towns feature beautiful mountain scenery, friendly
locals and are conveniently located near many seasonal attractions.
Sublette County offers year round activities for all to enjoy.
The
towns of Big Piney and Marbleton are located
close to each other and offer you real life “western
town” living, with lots of fun for the whole family!
The annual Chuckwagon Days Festival takes place each year over
the 4th of July weekend. Lil' Buckaroo Rodeo, a parade down
Big Piney's main street followed by a free BBQ at the Sublette
County Fairgrounds, an afternoon rodeo, street dance and late
evening fireworks. The Green River Valley Museum is on the
main street. Artifacts from prehistoric Indians, pioneers,
homesteaders and other various groups that have settled this
area are on display at the museum. The Sublette County Fair
happens every July-August in Big Piney and it is packed with
fun and entertainment for all to enjoy. There are also campgrounds
nearby, plenty of open space for hiking, biking and wild life
adventures to take place.
Bondurant is
a tiny western town that is home to The Black Powder Guest
Ranch, built in 1915, it is truly
a historic getaway. It is a quaint small town that is conveniently
located just 25 minutes from Jackson Hole for shopping, skiing
and fun and only minutes from Granite Creek Recreation Area
(home of Granite Hot Springs Swimming Pool).
Boulder is
for those who love to have peace and quiet, but live close
enough to shopping, local theater and
dining out on the town. There is beautiful 360 degrees of scenery.
Here you will find real “small town” life with
a population fewer than 100 people.
Cora,
Daniel and Merna are also tiny towns in
Sublette County similar to Boulder. They are abundant in gorgeous
scenery, wildlife, peaceful living, but close enough for shopping
and fun. There is nearby fishing in lakes, campgrounds and
hiking trails.
Pinedale is
an up and coming town full of sparks and fun things to do!
You outdoor folks will love the biking,
boating, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, hunting, ice fishing,
snow machining, skiing, and even sled dog races! We also have
small shops and dining spots, a tiny movie theater, and for
you beer fans; we have a local brewery and grill! Pinedale
is just an hour and half away from Rock Springs to the south,
an hour south from the world-famous tourist town Jackson Hole,
and 2 ½ hours south of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National
Parks. Located not too far from the recent oil and natural
gas drilling boom,
Pinedale is
literally in the center of most attractions in Western Wyoming,
making it an ideal place to live. Pinedale is an “active” small
town where its locals have a lot of pride in community all
year-round.
Please feel free to contact us, we look forward to sharing
Sublette County with you.
